T5 HIGH FREQUENCY LIGHTING
T5 High Frequency Tubes & Fittings
T5’s are the latest energy efficient fluorescent lamps with average energy savings of at least 40% compared to conventional T8 tubes.
Features
- Rated lives of 20,000 hours compared to 6,000 hours for T8s, resulting in fewer service and maintenance costs
- T5s are quieter because the electronic ballasts does not produce the hum characteristic of T8 or larger lamps
- T5s produce less eyestrain as they function at frequencies higher than 20 kilohertz, this means that their light flicker is too fast to be noticeable by the human eye
- T5 bulbs can be retrofitted into existing T8 and T12 fittings using a specially designed adaptor.

Internal T5 Slimline Diffused Fitting |
This is an elegant diffused housing which is capable of taking 1 or 2 of the 35 or 49 Watt T5 tubes. They are ideal for use in shops, corridors and office applications where efficiency and functionality required. They can be fitted with occupancy and daylight saving sensors. |

Internal T5 Highbay Fitting |
These steel powder coated units are suitable for use with 4 of the 80 Watt T5 tubes. They are ideal for use in high ceiled areas such as warehouses and manufacturing facilities and can be fitted with occupancy and/or daylight saving sensors. |

Internal T5 Recessed Fitting |
These slim housings simply replace a standard 600mm x 600mm ceiling tile and take either 3 or 4 of the 14 Watt energy efficient T5 tubes. They can be fitted with occupancy and daylight saving sensors |
